The Road Less Travelled

Like kings & queens from a dying age who thought they can change the world .. we paired.

With our own cleverly concealed scars .. we bonded.

Like an E minor followed by an A7, A baseline with a drum snare .. we rhymed perfectly.

Chopin may admire the power chords of Blackmore, Malmesteen must appreciate Yanni’s notes. Yet sadly both cannot jam together; it’s a different gig.

The road less travelled; the most appealing of roads; mysterious and fascinating; is also known for being a dead end; a pitfall from the nicest of dreams to the oblivion of reality.

Now I realize why men & women of imagination hesitate to choose that road. We all want to play it safe.

God bless your winged soul
